About us

Bless Your Heart is owned and operated by sisters, San Antonio girls, and Aggies (Whoop!) Katy Brockman & Rachel Dranselka.  With the help of Mom and Dad, aka Momar and Pepar, "the girls" started the shop in a small house in Bracken Village in September of 2000. The shop was really a family dream since the girls were little.  Both Momar and Pepar were teachers, so after Saturday chores the girls would go out shopping with mom.  They loved to shop small businesses, gift shops & boutiques, not always buying but inspired by the merchandise, displays, the smells, all of it, the girls dreamed of having their own store one day. 

Shortly after graduating from Texas A&M the girls made the move back home to start Bless Your Heart.  They started small and with faith, love and lots of help along the way, Bless Your Heart has grown to the shop in the barn at Bracken Village and a second location in Alamo Heights.  The Alamo Heights location was closed summer 2019. Who knows what's in store for Bless Your Heart but the girls always say that they feel blessed to be doing what they love with the people they love the most.

Mission Statement

Our goal is for Bless Your Heart, its employees, and its products to be a blessing and a happy spot in our customer’s day.  To stay on top of the latest trends and styles with a constantly changing inventory so that customers will see something new every time they walk through the door. To make BYH shoppers “the Cutest” in San Antonio…and beyond!
